VP of Sales

Job description

ReliableVA Solutions is a staffing firm and our client is considered the future of knowledge management, leveraging analytics, AI and automation to make managing diverse and ever changing content easier than ever before. We are an agile team looking for people who can take responsibility, think out of the box, and work well within a fast-paced environment.

The VP of Sales will play a critical role on the leadership team and is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, sales processes, and revenue operations.

This role will also be tasked with hiring and building out the sales team to ensure that revenue targets and goals will be met. This will include developing KPI’s and objectives to drive revenue and drive go-to-market strategy.

The ideal candidate will be able to work cross functionally with the executive team across marketing, product, development, etc. to ensure that company objectives are aligned with the go-to-market strategy.

Additionally, the ideal candidate has experience in leading sales teams that have grown 100%-200% year over year. This position will work directly with the executive management team.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and lead a growing sales team as it revolutionizes the knowledge management space.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding a team of world class Account Executives that will evangelize and bring us to the addressable market in a compelling way.

  • Lead all aspects of the sales process, strategy, emerging markets, sales development, and marketing activities.

  • Develop and establish fundamental sales and organizational KPI’s.

  • Build strong internal relationships across departments to ensure alignment across the organization.

  • Implement an in-depth sales management process which includes sales pipeline, account planning, proposals, billing, etc.

  • Create a scalable and efficient demand gen operation.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading or top performer in a successful sales organization. (Do not need prior executive experience).

  • Proven history of developing sales process, hiring, messaging development, and quota attainment in a leadership capacity.

  • Expert knowledge of sales process and demand generation.

  • Confident demeanor and ability to be direct and concise in communication.

  • Great communicator to reps, direct reports and especially to the executive team

  • Experience participating in rounds of venture funding a plus.

  • Experience in knowledge management industry a plus.
